Joyeux Noël (Merry Christmas in French) is a small folk style sampler featuring floral and animal elements. For this sampler, I took inspiration from antique sampler books and gave my own twist to some of the traditional themes. Besides the reindeer at the top of the sampler, there are two little peacocks - an old symbol for immortality.
