Marie Levillain 1873 is in my personal collection since a few years. I love a lot the contrast between the rather sober border and the exuberant bouquet of flowers. Colors are vivid, composition is well balanced. Bought in Massiv Central, probably from Normandy (as this name is usual in this part of France), but my genealogical searches did not succeed. So this 8 years old little girl keeps her mystery.
